Sparkle Summer Camp: July 7-10

Every GHD Counselor has undergone training to ensure the safety and best experience of everyone in camp. Training includes:

• CPR Certification
• CA Mandated Reporter training
• Art Instruction Training - focusing on inclusive, age-appropriate and encouraging language specifically geared toward promoting creativity and a safe, judgement-free space.

Our camp team has a combined 10+ years of experience teaching and facilitating art with kids. We can't wait to share our expertise with you!

Each day, please send your child with:

• Snack
• Lunch
• Water Bottle
• Sunscreen and/or Bug Spray (we will be outside!)

Please label your child's water bottle and lunch box with their first and last name!

We will have a water cooler for water refills, as well as extra sunscreen and bug spray just in case.

Please wear clothes that are ok to get messy! We will occasionally use materials that may stain, like paint or ink.

Golden Hour Designs is not liable for any damaged clothing or property brought to camp.

We'll follow a general daily structure so kids (and you!) know exactly what to expect each day:

9:00am - Drop off

9:00am-9:20am - Morning Invitation

9:20am-9:30am - Morning Meeting

9:30-10:45am - Making Session I

10:45am-11:00am - Snack & Free Time

11:00am-12:15pm - Making Session II

12:15pm-12:45pm - Lunch & Free Time

12:45pm-1:00pm - Afternoon Invitation

1:00pm - Pick up

• Please drop off at the courtyard gate to the right of the GHD entrance (on the corner of Broadway and 36th). You must stay with your child until they are inside the courtyard with us.
• You may pick up no later than 1:10pm. After that point, you may be subject to a $40 late pickup fee

Camper use of cell phones or electronic devices during camp at any time is prohibited. They may bring their device to camp as long as it is kept in their bags.

Maximum enrollment for each camp is 25 campers to ensure that everyone receives a quality experience.

A waitlist is available for camps, but being on the waitlist does not guarantee that a spot will open up. We will contact you with updated availability if/when it occurs!

We will keep any items left by campers in our Lost & Found for 2 weeks before they are donated or discarded.

If we know who the item belongs to, we will send you one email and/or text to attempt contact to let you know we have it and arrange a pickup.

Your camp enrollment includes all four days of camp. We do not offer prorated pricing if your child misses a portion of their camp week for any reason.

Should your child no longer be available to attend camp, you may transfer enrollment to another child ONE time per enrollment, ONLY with written approval from Golden Hour Designs. Another child may not attend camp in place of the original enrollee under any other circumstances.

Each camp enrollment is for one child. Each enrollment MAY NOT be shared amongst more than one child.

Each camp enrollment includes a $40 nonrefundable deposit to secure your child's spot.

If cancellation occurs more than 14 days prior to camp start date, you are eligible for a refund of your full enrollment total minus the $40 deposit per enrollment.

If cancellation occurs between 14 days-7 days prior to camp start date, you are eligible for Craft Credit matching your full enrollment total, minus the $40 deposit per enrollment.

If cancellation occurs within 7 days of the camp start date, unfortunately you are not eligible for a refund or Craft Credit.

If your child is experiencing any symptoms of sickness including but not limited to: cough, sore throat, fever, upset stomach, GI issues, fatigue, etc, PLEASE do not send them to camp for the safety of other campers and our counselors.

We totally get that kids get sick. It SUCKS! Unfortunately, in the event of a child not being able to attend camp due to sickness, we are not able to offer a refund, credit or reimbursement of any kind. Due to the dynamic nature of our instruction and project structure, we cannot send materials home for the child to complete their project off-site.

Craft Credit is exclusive store credit that can be used solely for any GHD craft experience. In the event of cancellation between 14 days-7 days prior to your camp date, Craft Credit is issued in lieu of a refund.

Services eligible for Craft Credit include:

• Craft Club
• Craft Camp
• Craft Parties

We will confirm your Craft Credit in writing (email), and keep track of it in your customer account. When you're ready to apply your credit, please get in touch with us and we will get you signed up for your desired experience!

Craft Credit expires after 12 months.

Golden Hour Designs reserves the right to change, alter or adjust Craft Camp decisions, expectations and policies with or without notice if we believe the changes will ensure a better quality experience for participants. When necessary, we will update you via email to communicate any changes.

Due to the unique nature of our historic property, certain accommodations may be limited.
